Scuba Diving & New Friends

Getting to the dive sites was a big part of this trip.

In September 2001 Norewgian Cruise Lines had launched a new ship called the Norwegian Sun.

This cruise was in December 2001.

Except for the pier in Cozumel, getting from the ship to the dive sites involved boarding a smaller boat for transportation

Inside accommodations were important, too. If you are going to enjoy a trip, it is nice to be comfortable.

This ship was built with staterooms with balconies and spacious interior suites.

Well . . . SOMEONE had to stay in it!

The ports did not have harbors large enough to dock this large a ship.
