Lobsters need to be cleaned, now or later . . . . .

 

You start by simply separating the tail from the rest when you come ashore.

 

Then you clean out some undesirable "stuff". (the next stop is an ice chest, then a pot and then the dinner table)

 

Well, SOMEONE has to do it!

I was also given a second lobster to take home by a generous companion aboard named Paul.

Overall, this was a great first lobster day.
